MEDIATION

Mediation provides an opportunity for opposing parties to come together in an informal setting to participate in negotiations to settle the parties’ dispute.   The process uses a trained and impartial third party to guide the parties in reaching a mutually satisfactory agreement. Mediation allows the parties to maintain control over the ultimate outcome of a dispute and is often less time-consuming and costly than going to trial.

As a NCDRC Certified Superior Court Mediator, Monica Webb-Shackleford provides mediation services for a variety of civil matters including employment disputes, business litigation, and medical malpractice cases.
